This is some of the mob of corellas that visit us every few days. Lots of flying, swooping, squabbling and eating too! A bit of seed and we have free entertainment with breakfast. They also have the most joyous calls
Oh look at all of those happy birds! We had correlas make regular trips through our garden when we lived just a few blocks from the Torrens in Adelaide. So special to have these guests.
Oh these guys are just magnificent Greer!!! LW and I work with an NGO that rescues, rehabilitates and releases tropical and dry forest birds. We are still caring for 27 of 274 confisated infant military Macaws. As soon as their bands arrive from the Mexican government those last 27 will be released. Illegal bird trafficking here is huge!! :(
